Established in 2003, our Davao Factory, Coco Davao, Inc. is established to answer the two source supply policy of our company – ensuring a steady stream of Desiccated Coconuts with excellent quality and maintaining that sufficient supply of quality to all our customers all year round. To aid to our two source supply policy, CDI is strategically located in the heart of the typhoon free zone of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
This industrial plant is uniquely and specifically designed to meet the growing demands of Desiccated Coconut users worldwide, combining top-of-the-line and efficient structures, heavy-duty equipment, advanced quality monitoring system and years of product expertise. CDI produces multi-graded Desiccated Coconut that bears the mark of the Primex global excellence.
In 2003, CDI started from a rated annual capacity of 13,000 metric tons of Desiccated Coconut. In a short period of time, that capacity has doubled to 26,000 metric tons and CDI is currently employing 1,800 employees. This therefore makes Primex the fastest growing Desiccated Coconut manufacturer in the World.
With quality as our main ingredient in whatever we do, CDI is committed to nothing less than meeting international food standards. This is why CDI is also an ISO 22000 certified factory and to this day supplies the most refined Desiccated Coconut users around the globe.
